You've done well, now just tell us the positives for the others and the negatives for Beacon Lodge as well and you may be on to something.

the negative for Beacon is his record returning more than 100 days off th etrack, 6th and 7th.

- The 4 year olds in the race don't look top drawer to me.
Agree - Paco Boy looks vulnerable on first start of the season. Only just won this race last season. That race was weaker than this years renewal. 56k race is a nice prize to kick off, won it last year, won FTO in 2008 and is comfortably the class horse - Confront - looks more of agroup 3 horse to me. Might be wrong. Doesn't look much more than that to me either. Strengthens Paco's claim. - Clive Cox is very strong early the season. He is yes, but Beacon Lodge needed run last year. Can already see that the Haydock listed race may be its first genuine target as last year. - Beacon Lodge improved into a genuine group horse last season. A genuine G3 horse yes, like Confront and several others, Paco's is a G1 horse. 16/1 value? Each to their own, good luck anyway. I reckon you're playing a competitive race for 2nd and 3rd. |

Thanks for your view Davenport. I complelty agree on form Paco Boy should win. I do think Paco Boy can run hot and cold though. If he is hot he will win.
But for no logical reason I think he'll get beat today and I expect Beacon Lodge to run well. |

No bet for me but will look out for Beacon at Haydock

If he wins today he won't be going to Haydock. He will be going for the Lockinge ;)

Now if you KNOW he has improved, maybe he will but the evidence suggests otherwise

All I know is that he has wintered extremley well
