I think there will be plenty of pace on in this race, plenty of front/prominent runners,so I think you will need a horse that can stay well, has run well on ground this quick, jump well (good grd) and a horse that can run well in a competative race of this nature,so I think.......
LACDOUDAL: PLACE/win.
LOTHIAN FALCON: PLACE/win.
Might run well.
Good/Luck !! ;)

How about Church Island? 4th last year and would've been back in front of Lacdoudal in a few more strides last year

Wetherby run compensated for by price. The two hurdle runs could have been to keep him ticking over on unsuitable ground. It often pays to give a horse a chance to come back to form but only if it is coming back for a specific race it has run well in before. Arcalis at Cheltenham was a similar example recently.

Cheers bluenose, good run from Lacdoudal, it was only seeing Church come back at it last year that convinced me who would be stronger stayer this time.
