The Whitbread's run, so Welcome to the National Hunt off-season.
Please post all your news and rumours here, player and manager moves, big money signing's, who'll be challenging the big teams next season, who won't......
I hear that the jockeys are very pleased to have the extension to the off-season given by the authorities, the 4.20 at Market Raspberry representing an earlier finish to the season than usual, though only as might now be expected in a World Cup year.
From the punters point of view, it has to be disappointing that they couldnt have slotted in a pre-season meet on Saturday evening, as we now have to endure the long long wait for the new season to open up - it's a glaring omission that means the wait just goes on and on and on, not unlike hopes for a Philip Hobbs title challenge.
It'll seem like forever by the time we finally reach the 2 o'clock at Ludlow tomorrow, and can finally dispense with all the preamble and waffle as the 2010/11 title race gets underway.
Please help fill the long void, post here.
