i had £3 e/w on so not pocket talking ,im pretty sure even if ridden to the line it wouldnt have got a place.....
but he just basically pulled the horse up when in 3rd place and about 10 lengths ahead of 4th.it wasnt injured ......

seems to have the idea if your not going to win you might aswell come last.

i know i would not have got a place anyway but that definately put me off backing any of his rides in the future.

the horse will always been tired if you go off at that pace towards the end of the race

that would be a fair comment but i doubt you actually watched his ride, obviously with having a wee bet on him,my attention was with him the whole race.

i just thought that there was rule that you needed to ride to the line, especially when theres obvious place and prize money.

the horse was no making ground but it was certainly not losing massive amounts of ground and he just pulled it up.

sure he could have got 4th and took home more prize money rather than 6th,
hands and heels would have assured that

if the horse was in anykind of pain then i totally agree it needs pulling up,
there just didnt seem to be anythgin to suggest that,he went from 100% effort to stop riding in a few strides and allowed 2 or 3 horses from between 10-20 lengths behind pass it.

it looked more like he was to tired than the horse,

if you seen the horse is last race it went off at the front got pegged back and stayed on again to win.

in no way do i beleive if he had ridden out he would have been placed,it just seemed very do or die
