nicholls riding instructions to schofield: i want you to go back to last and throttle the living daylights out of this horse. i don't care how slow they go up front, or how much the horse would benefit from having a good look at his hurdles, i do not want you up there with the pace. you must not show any initiative or judgement of pace under any circumstances.
