Excellent topic MIke- I guees we should all learn from the man- you can always beat the bookmakers -- providing you think differently than Joe public !!! Barney sure does that. I think hes quite easy to work out--He's got the excuse lined up-- long time away from the track- normally a big clue. Next a big long curve south east followed by a major downward plunge south. His first one tonight had clearly been eating grass in a field for the last 2 months as he was as big as a cart horse.My guess is he will now go back into training and be set up for a nice little touch over 1m 6 - 2 miles in July/ August. The key to Bareys success is simple - he runs them unfit when their not wanted.It would be interesting to know the weight of his horses b4 each race !!!
