Practically all of the two days of the Craven meeting at Newmarket is 3-yr-olds only.
Even used to be similar when it was a three day meeting. Time of the year. |

Many will remember when the first two races today - The Esher Cup, and the Classic Trial - always used to be tomorrow, as feature races on the 'mixed' Whitbread card. .... when the Whitbread Chase was the only jump race on Saturday..
Then they changed tomorrow to more of an emphasis on Jump racing, as a closure to the season.mixed' Whitbread card. |
