We all know about the betting signals .... more accurate than GPS and Radar.

It is the contrasting 'running styles; that, quite literally, take the p!ss

One week they run like Breeders' Cup contenders - another they look like 'Dead men walking'.

Yet the lame duck Stewards never have him in ... let alone the head honchos at the toothless BHA.

The rug was not removed from Zabeel Palace until going out on the course despite it being a warm night but the market signals suggest tonight may not be the night.

"Overheated", eh, Stewarts .

That scuppers my theory of having had 18 buckets of water to drink, then. :)

I wonder what Barney made of this one being put UP 18 lbs, by the official handicapper - for finishing 8 th last time out. ;)

Mind you, he would probably be pleased - as it's original mark of just 37 - for being slowly away in it's first four races - meant it would be very unlikely to ever get a run in a handicap - and would have to run off the minimum 45, at least, even if it got in one.

As you say onlooker mark of 37 no good to man or Barney!
