It's a strange one, as if the jockey made a maneuver which caused dangerous riding, they have to disqualify the horse, regardless to which horse interference took place. I do however feel it would be harsh to kick it out, but the jockey will probably get a summer holiday.

Don't forget it's not always a case of discussing the result and whether it should be amended but the severity of the ban. They could have decided that the result will not be affected, but until the enquiry is concluded which includes the ban handed out, then the enquiry is not announced.

You often see bans and no result change, it would be deemed as careless riding, which is causing interference without intent, dangerous riding is instant disqualification.
i cant even see how the jockey has done anything wrong - lump on
yesterday at epsom same sort of thing happened to haley turner not even a stewards for that which was a surprise to all don't think these guys know what the rules are ;)
If it's deemed to be dangerous riding, does that mean he has to be disqulaified?
