Many moons ago I remember Shareef Dancer winning the Esher Cup H´cap (run tomorrow) in soft ground, before going on to win the Irish Derby. Can anyone remember what horse won the Guardian Classic Trial the same year?

He won the King Edward at the Royal meeting as well before going to the curragh, it was a really wet spring that year and there were plenty of shocks in the trials, cant remember for the life of me who won it that year though and it couldnt have been that good a race
