What are your views on this race tomorrow. CCB to bounce back from a disappointing run at the festival?

Riverside Theatre looks a threat.

Osana been running consitently, but think he will come up short again in GD 1 company.

CCB a good thing tomorrow imo
Report The Destroyer April 21, 2010 10:17 PM BST
Does CCB want the ground this lively?
Report snap crackle and pop April 21, 2010 10:20 PM BST
think it will be perfect fo him. He will jump better on this faster surface too imo
Report The Destroyer April 21, 2010 10:22 PM BST
Jumping stiff fences at speed could be his undoing imo, rather lay than back tbh.

PLACE LAY PSYCHO

only ever wins with ruby up and prefers soft!!
Report ilikewavingatbuses April 21, 2010 10:25 PM BST

Hey ilwab. CCB for me, definitely deserves another chance after bursting a blood vessel.. just hope he doesn't do it again, always a worry. Good day ilwab?
Report ilikewavingatbuses April 21, 2010 10:35 PM BST
hey ryan!!oh i dunno about ccb, hes obviously the best horse but im worried he wont reproduce it!!lively ground?better or worse? yeah good day, ive had such an up and down last few days, was up 335 yest on place bet for forpady 160ish (1.97) then lost it all on barca game for a 0-0 ht score bet (i kno stupid)...lodged in 90 today won on fallons in the derby trial, took the 90 out and was left with 110 winnings, up to 343e now!

THE END

:)

you?

Think CCB is a lot better on quicker ground, but.. seems to increase the chances of him bursting a blood vessel :/. lol WD on FPTP, I saw PP were doing 5/2 for him to finish 2nd - haha!

Yeah I had a decent day yesterday, Kempes won for me at 14/1.. but lost on Sizing Europe, Flat out and rollwiththepunches, still ended up 260 ahead. Gave that all back today though, all 6 of todays selections were pathetic, never looked like they were going to win. In fact, Denman was probably the closest to winning, and that says a lot!

Quite like Let Yourself Go in the CCB race too, especially back over 2m.. missed out on 20/1 1/4 odds though.. hopefully someone will do it again in the morn. Quite keen on Quevega and Bensalem in the 3m too. Fancy anything else tomorrow?
Report The Destroyer April 21, 2010 10:47 PM BST
Ladcrooks 1/4 odds on all Punch races I think Ryan.
Report RyanWe April 21, 2010 10:51 PM BST
Yeah Destroyer, but unfortunately they haven't priced up the Novice Chase yet. PP, VC, and B365 1/4 odds the race too, but 20/1 gone with 'em. The way the exchanges are looking, the 20/1 with other firms is probably in danger too.. not sure I think LYG is going to win, just think it could easily get placed.. we'll see.
Report ilikewavingatbuses April 21, 2010 10:58 PM BST
i like KARABAK but agree bensalem has a good chance and is way over priced to me!!

REISK SUPERMAN in the 2nd at punches

and i think i like RIVERSIDE T in champion but will prob place lay my bank on PSYCHO and hope for the best!
Report The Destroyer April 21, 2010 11:05 PM BST
Quevega has to be a lay tomorrow. Out of mares company and the potential 'bounce' factor.

Not sure bout Karabak, bombed out at Aintree on good ground last year.
Report RyanWe April 21, 2010 11:05 PM BST
Yeah agree with you about Psycho.. definitely handles the heavy ground a lot better than others, and is a lot shorter than I thought he would be. Just browsed at 2nd race, how come you fancy Reisk Superman? Definitely loves the quicker ground, but what's your angle?
Report RyanWe April 21, 2010 11:08 PM BST
Yeah can't say I'm the biggest fan of backing mares against geldings either, Destroyer.. but don't think the 3milers are that special, and thought her 3rd at last Punchestowns festival over a 2mtrip was a really good effort. Looks like she'll stay the trip of 3m.. but god knows. Probably shorter than she should be, but that's mullins horses for you in general. What do you fancy tomorrow Destroyer?
Report The Destroyer April 21, 2010 11:17 PM BST
Only really looked at this race tbh, Osana looks like a good e/w bet to nothing if 11-2 tomorrow and 1/4 odds. Think a few will need to underperform for him to win, but it is possible. Not really a fan of the cross country race but think Edna will have it with L'ami tbh. The other races don't really look good betting propositions tomorrow.

I like one at Perth in the 4.20, Go Silver Bullet. Looks good opp. against the fav who won at Chelters last week but up in the weights again. CD winner and will go on the ground. Only had 1 race this year and had an pipe opener a month ago, were just fading in the final stages. All looks set for a good run tomorrow.
Report RyanWe April 21, 2010 11:27 PM BST
Think De Boitron will be hard to beat, as runs without a penalty and just 1lb higher than win at Chelt.. not exactly sure why either. Shorter than 4/5 atm. Quite fancy Tramantano myself though. A lot of his best form is on good or quicker.. and Twiston Davies runners always seem to do well at Perth, just 1lb higher than last winning mark at Aintree too. GL anyway, think it will be hard getting fav beat if none the worse for Chelt.
Report The Destroyer April 21, 2010 11:29 PM BST
Yeah DB 1lb higher, but minus the 8lb claim the Chelters race. I always associate Tramantano with running his best races at Chelters.

Fosters Cross my ew pick at 33/1, but it depends on the watering. Will relish fast ground and is a good jumper.
