Looks an easy opening for this one, 10/11 a decent enough price. Thought it would be 1/2.

The Knoxs has some good hurdle form, should be an improver also. Good value at 7.1 i think..

The Knoxs may need more cut, but he beat Wymott by 1.25l off level weights in january. Wymott went on to beat Wayward Prince in G2 Albert Bartlett at Haydock in February with Kennel Hill 3rd. Kennel Hill went on to be 3rd in the Albert Bartlett at the festival. Wayward Prince went straight to Aintree an won the G1 Sefton cosily. Kennel Hill was back in 6th.

looking at the times of the races at aintree, it may be that friday was riding quicker than thursday but...
Wayward Prince won the sefton (G1 novices hurdle) in a time of 6m 4.30s
Carsonstown Boy was 2nd (beaten by 6l) in G3 handicap hurdle on Friday in a time of 6m 3.20s
Possol was 3rd (beaten 4l) in G1 liverpool hurdle in a time of 6m 21.40s

on another note, if indeed thursday was riding slower at aintree as the times suggest it was, Chaninbar's time was pretty impressive.
