yeah but its more of an inconvenience to its opponents when soft. kalahari useless on soft . forpaddy useless on soft. big zeb not great on soft . thats y i think hes a certainty when he runs from the front over 2 miles on soft ground

he has done well with ruby but then again he has pretty much always ridden him. the only times he hasnt has been at chelt so it is ruby or the course?

given that sam thomas has won a tingle creek on him and given how far behind he has always been at cheltenham i am inclined to think he just hates the course (bad memories of the fall in the arkle??)
