I really want to get stuck in to GM here but the price just seems to good to be true.

i think blackstair mountain could win on decent ground. i was mortified when it was beat last time
I think the main worry would be the hard race he had at Aintree..
Loosen my load had lovely prep race on wrong ground lto...reckon this is a better bet to place than General after a very hard race at aintree (as posted above)
General Millar seems to need more than 2m, stays on very strongly over 17f & just gets there, cant have it over 2m.
OK I think I am happy to back at 2/1
10 days since last hard race - should have recovered enough.
I also rate Menorah (2nd in the race) very highly.
Only needs to be 80% fit to win here.
I can see the reasons now why layers will take him on but I think he has a good chance and 2/1 is a good price.

Blackstairs is a value bet at the moment and will start a fair bit shorter imo
GM will get beat today, backed him all season, but not today...has had a good lay off, but beating Menorah at Aintree 11 days ago..not for me today.
