Delighted to see Dunguib is going to be tested at the highest class this week. Massive fan of this horse, I was badly burned when he didnt oblige at Cheltenham, but the front two could turn out to be anything too.

Dont forget, its only just over a year ago that we saw this horse destroy a class field in the bumper at Cheltenham. He was never out of third gear to win every race after that up until the supreme this year round. But he hardly ran a stinker

Ruby said at preview it doesn't have a chance, fup him what does he know. Dunquib will p$ss all over an average horse in Solwhit and a Hurricane Fly that cant be fully fit. Machine

i think its a tougher test for dunguib but yes i still believe hes the real deal!!!ill be on anyway!!!
Report Tintoyou April 19, 2010 11:27 PM BST
Well, I've yet to see convincing evidence that he doesn't go on the good ground. Sure, it won't be much different to the last time he was out and he ran well there.

It should be a cracking race anyway and the inclusion of Dunguib really adds to the intrigue. If it was very soft, Solwhit would have to have a massive chance anyway, so it's swings and roundabouts.

yeah tough race!!difficult to equate, i believe he was the best horse in supreme (just my opinion, lets not do that debate again)so i believe hes well worth a chance here, if he was 3/1 id def have a good punt!!if h'fly is on song, then he'll have a v good horse to beat!even if he does beat a 100% h'fly, prople will say he wasnt 100 so.....he deserves a chance anyway!!

Dunguib wants further than 2m.

What are the chances that he'll be sent over fences next year?

Perhaps he'll give them more respect than hurdles. Or he could end up being next years Zaarito. Or the only threat to Big Bucks in the Stayers Hurdle. Who knows....?

cheltenham a good course for frontrunners or near the front , they paid the price for keeping him at the back,he will win this time i have no doubt at all
Report unlucky_mike April 20, 2010 7:08 AM BST
Cheltenham is a course for champions! Dunguib failed that test! But Dunguib in Ireland is another prospect.

I am a big fan and was disappointed he didn't win at Cheltenham, but was delighted that the Irish lost so much money.
