cantspell - it was packed last year & growing in popularity. At a tenner for tatts it's still cheaper than anywhere.

Aintree on Friday it will not be; the country set at play is something of a different experience. Still worth the tenner, I agree.

Grey shot, you've clearly never been. Plenty on here come out with the cliches about pram pushers etc but its not like that at all. Really nice crowd, no drunks, & very well run. Yes, the quality of racing isnt the highest, but they are a business and have to balance the books. If they let people in for free then they cant stump up fortunes for prize money.

Yes beast. Luckily I only bet at Ascot for the Royal meeting. Will be interesting to hear reports I suppose. Gimmick imo.
