It's a tricky one this year, ground going to play a huge part in my view. If they water so that it is proper good to soft, then Denman would be hard to beat and I would give Joncol a solid chance.

I doubt it though, there's barely been any rain over here the past two weeks. I reckon it will be good/good soft in places. I would love to see The War run well on his last outing. A fine horse in his day, maybe he can run into a place at a course and distance he has tasted success in the past.

I can't see past Denman in this. He's miles better than these and I don't think the ground will be an issue.

There has been some doubt cast in the past about Denman going right handed i seem 2 remember P Nicholls saying hes a stone better going left handed

Nicholls has a solid record in the race and would have to be respected. I think I'd rather go with Joncol though for a bit of value, I reckon he's a solid bet to place.
