HI any help appreciated. If I were to lay every horse in the field before the off at say 1.8 and saved all the bets so they could be placed in running is this risky or over time would this method show a profit. Thanks

Chances are in most races you would only lay the winner.

The results are there. Do some research.

There will be a number that works, I doubt it is 1.8 and expecting someone to reveal the magic number is a little naive. Trial and error is the way to find out.

Why waste money by trail and error when you can gain some idea by looking at all the previous results.

acassidy72. how long would it take to find the in running price of every horse in every race for, say, a year, please ?

obviously, something as base as this will fail . That is not to say however with some tinkering and a bit more graft than what you'RE suggesting requires, you won't be on thr right track to a good chance of profit. Multiple lays at various prices for various stakes works for me. Don't be lazy. 3 clicks and 3 seconds of typing will see off. winning money requires work.

Whatever price you lay down your inrunning nets at, you will lay the winner and miss out by 0.01 on another lay in the race.

Agree with Joker - but not just in sprints. Some courses have terrible camera angles. Long may it continue.

Saddo it'll take as long as it takes. If people would put the time and effort into their gambling they'd probably win a whole lot more.
