Cracking event and some decent 3yo olds involved...reading AOB, he states both his will come on for the run and although I often take trainers words with a pinch of salt, I think this time he maybe spot on - the price on the jolly does not reflect that - however i do expect a drift..last time out, got bogged down at 8/13 in a group one at Saint Cloud and may have had a hard season anyway..so I am prepared to put a line through the favourtie and this will be a nice prep race for a good campaign.

At First Sight seems the second string, but a bit of ew money seems to be coming for it but I cant see it myself as the form of its one victory against Cool Marble looks quite poor

Address unknown bolted up at Dundalk at a decent price, so in my opinion they dont really know what they have here and cannot be considered a backing proposition from the Weld camp, but the stable is going along nicely, so a decent bid for a place could be on the cards

Famous Warrior from one of my favourite stables and it seems quite a few of the books are not keen on taking too much - the correct price is on bf imo and not bad form from its last run in a group three, when not given the hardest of races imo

Puncher Clynch - had a lovely touch with this at Dundalk last time out, when beating the AOB BattleofTrafalgar..ran with great spirit and looked one to follow - I am loathed to desert this one and big step up in grade, but maybe worth a small place bet

Elusive Award deserves a mention as pitched in with the Derby Winner of 2010 (imo) and beaten 24l at 50s..so obviously quite well thought off but I am not keen

Icon Dream won well in its only race as a 2yo and although in the heavy stuff, i think will not be put out by todays going - and early market confidence shows the stable quite like it

However the one that will have my hard earned on is Mister Carter - hosed up in its first run (unraced 2year old) this season over course and distance - yes only a maiden, but very impressive..the fifth has won since and form looks pretty good - as far as good maidens at this time of year go..we all know the form of the Stack yard...33% win rate (although the first 4 winners on opening day help that stat)..

anyways gl all what ever you do today and enjoy the racing
