I will give this one a chance for the following reasons:
- Loves good to firm ground which I expect it to be by this afternoon
- Peter Bowen in good form
- Brian Hughes most improved jockey of the season
- Novices have good record in this race
- Light weight, although out of the handicap. This isn't a massive negative as this is the worse Scottish National I can remember and it never stopped Iris De balme a couple of years ago.

I agree with you to an extent, I've only had a saver on the horse as I think he is overpriced due to the same reasons as you as given (ground, trainer etc), my main bet is Gone To Lunch.

BTW Brian Hughes is a class jockey these days.

Mr Bowen had a nice double on the Friday at Aintree this year 50-1 and 33-1 earlt prices. Bit of a treck as well from Haverford West all the way up to Ayr, interesting.......
