who is trainer R D Wylie ?

Taking over from Howard Johnson imo.

Worked for Cumani for many years then set up training a very small, limited string about 10 yrs ago. Packed it in after a couple of years but seems to be up and going again at the same yard ( Meagher and rod Simpson have also trained there). No idea what he has been doing during the interim period. The runner today had come from Paul Green's which is only a few miles away and one of the owners was involved with Precious Boy who won the Imperial Cup around 18 yrs ago.

Must be getting on a bit now, but used to play for the Villa and the blues in 60s before going on to be assistant to Vic Crowe at Villa, think he managed at WBA for a while, legs probably gone now!

thanks verboten, i just wondered about him and today's runner, he didnt go unbacked for Green on his debut so stood out a little for new connections.
