Well i am late 30s ... And both the Grimster and Diddles have always made perfect sense to me , along with a few others on here they make good arguments for their selections/thoughts, which i for one take onboard. :)

thats very true - when your a canny old codger - you still need to listen - 2 ears one mouth use then in that proportion.

Lets face facts - they should be in the best position to know what horses are off. Ladbrokes have the only betting shop within 10 miles of Lambourn - Why the hell would a bookmaker want a betting shop in Lambourn Its populations 90% insiders.
Nobody can tell me they have not got a real clued up team in there to monitor the time of day.
Totesport have a new incentive for horserace owners - They will lay a horserace owner a miimum of £4k exposure on any of the owners horses if they register the horses name. My account with totesport is my only on going account as all the others have been closed. I use it to place tote rollover bets. But if i want an sp bet they wont lay me a bean - except if its my horse. They must think i was born yesterday.

what today kid no i backed 3 in the end one each way at newmarket Mullionmilesanhour @5-1 - got nutted I still cant believe it didnt win and ive watched the race 4 times I was making the tea thinking thats the wheelbarrow nicely topped up and they gave it over 2nd then i backed pipes non runner at cheltenham. and fiddled a bit on easterbys 2yo winner at Ripon But only for small.

The secret is being selective ie patience. You do not need to bet in every race. If you find a value bet then back it within your bankroll, and not more than 5% of same.
