they all seem to need the run to me. and youve got horses from the bell yard and haggas yards with better form than these stoute horses going off much bigger prices than they should be

Very naive statement - they tend to be "short on what they have actually achieved" because over the last 20 years or so his horses have consistently progressed with racing more than those of any other trainer. And you would have made a profit backing every Stoute favourite in April over the last 10-15 years.

i don't know exactly what stoutey horses are being targeted here.

i know for a fact that since 2005 of his lto winners if you backed them all next time at betfair odds (when bookies are pricing them up to 2/1) the return is 103.3%.

so his winners that start off at cramped odds next time out actually show a minimal positive return over 5 seasons.

this to me does not say the prices are out of kilter.

its like the spencer knockers who believe that all you have to do is lay his shorties, in the long run, suprise suprise that doesn't yield anything either way too!

you have to judge each race/horse on its merits for that run

broad sweeps just don't work out statistically, that's why this game is so bl00dy hard. if it were easy to apply a few filters on spreadsheets the industry would not survive!
