Manhattan Boy - won there 14 times (nearly all sellers I think) at Plumpton and never won anywhere else.
A. Not much bigger than a pony, Le Garcon d'Or was one of the most successful and popular horses on the northern circuit - he was still going strong at the age of 15.
He won a remarkable 34 races, the last coming at Musselburgh, one of his most prolific venues, on June 19, 1972 at the ripe old age of 14. Le Garcon d'Or also had a good record at Lanark.
