A while ago, there was an Place Odds Calculator at Yahoo Geocities. However, this appears to be no longer available.
Basically, you enter the number of runners, the number of places and the odds of each horse.
Then it produced the 'true' odds of finishing in each of the place positions and the odds to finish in any of the place positions.
Are there any other similar tools available?
