What is the best stand/area to go for the May meeting. Looking for a good atmosphere as well as to watch the races. Are Tattersals a good area to go in or is it a lot better to go to the County stand or Long Room? Never been before and some advice would be most welcome.

Probably all 'Sold Out', already.
Plenty of Scouse ticket touts outside, though - whole event very pricey, tickets, drinks, food. Vastly over-rated. |

Ive always gone to tatts and hung around by the paddock on the inside.
Watching the race other than on a screen has never really been an option in my experience. The real beasts are on show by the paddock. |

Tatts the best and £15 cheaper than the County.
Dont need shirt and jacket in Tatts either, just smart casual. Still have acces to parade ring and good view of the racing aswell. Only plus to County is its on the finish line, so if its photo ya might be bit unsure from Tatts. Dont book tickets can easy get Tatts face value or cheaper on the road down. Enjoy ;) |

get yourself in the dee stand its cheap and cheerful and great atmosphere i hav been going to the 3 day may meeting for years and been in all enclosures but always go dee stand now , cant beat it

They place will be heaving - and if a warm day uncomfortable, too.
