Industry is on its arris cos times are a changing and there's a recession, no more no less....no ones squabbling about start of Flat, they are just tossing ideas about, trying to see if anything else makes more sense....Lord knows, enough on here dont like the current start to the Flat..not heard a good alternative yet tho, from anybody inc the moaners

Jesus wept......the actual date is irrelevant. Just fecking choose one and then structure the necessary meetings around it - it's not about the date............it's all about the hype and the b*ll**.......flat racing is a great package........a massive opportunity is being missed here.

AW has ruined the "start" of the flat.

They should end the AW season in the spring and have a gap before the turf starts.

Easter ***** things up.....why does there HAVE TO BE big fanfare start?....Cheltenham/Aintree massive this time of year, Flat has sundry BIG festivals and races to come...i love the Open and the Ryder Cup, dont give a cr ap how the golf season BEGINS

End the aw with the Winter Derby, give it a rest for a month to get the turf flat underway with a proper three day fixture at Doncaster again.

Flat racing is based around the KN*B'S hav'in a day out in the sun. !!
