A useful enough novice back in 07/08 when he was 6th in the Whitbread (sorry, Bet365) Gold Cup beaten under 7l by Monkerhostin when a stone and a half out of the handicap.

Came back from a year and a half off at Cheltenham Festival but apparently was beaten before the off after boiling over in the preliminaries. Then convincingly beat Dom D'Orgeval at Newbury, a horse which ran a blinder at Aintree next time out when 2nd to Dawn Til Dusk.

11/2 available getting weight from 6 of his 9 opponents all with more miles on the clock than him and with less chance of improvement, plus 5lb claimer on board who did the steering for the Newbury win.

Anyone else like this one?

I have gone with REGAL HIEGHTS e/w in this contest, worried about course form, but id better off with your selection today compared to last time, hoping it can get closer today and possibly make the frame good luck
Cheers

hope burren does run well today as have backed it for 365gold cup so a big run here will see odds crash and places guaranteed hopefully!

Slightly worried about that myself, but not enough runs round here to be conclusive. Being well backed now though.

would rather go with boychuk, god knows what they were doing with it last time out the back, early mistake didn't help and then never really got into the race finding trouble.

would expect to see it a lot more handy today and must go close with a clear imo.

i know burren legend hasn't had many runs at chelters but they look bad in between its other races either side and i really don't like it when thats the case.

Burren Legend won't win today. FACT.

I agree with you about everything you say Roger, my only reservation is that he can make bad mistakes, and Cheltenham isn´t the place to do that.

where´s the 11-2?

Race full of hold up horses. If Buck The Legend can get an early lead and stay ahead, and not make his customary one mistake, then they won't get to him.

Unlucky. I thought the jockey could have gone for home a bit earlier and been a bit stronger in the finish, but he got it jumping well.

Moral winner.

Sadly they don't pay out on the moral winner though!

Thought he was going to win right through the race. No blame to the jockey, he gave it a nice ride and the horse jumped well throughout. Possibly would have won if he had gone on sooner.

Good performance, disappointing result.
