Ye, fallon has no other classic prospects so bound to big up the one he has, this horse is useless, he sounds like he did when he claimed dylan thomas was the best horse he ever rode, forgot he doesn't work for coolmore.hypemachine.com anymore imo

I suspect this filly is Group 1 class, but the Guineas may not be her race. To describe her as 'useless' is ridiculous. She absolutely bolted up on debut by 8 lengths from Dyna Waltz, who was only beaten 3 lengths later in the season in the Gr.1 Fillies' Mile. It will be interesting to see how Dyna Waltz gets on in today's Nell Gwyn Stakes. Seta is almost certainly better than she showed in the May Hill Stakes - she looked a class apart from the rest of the field when she took the race by the scruff of the neck with a very good turn of foot, but the trainer and jockey are agreed that more restrained tactics will be deployed in future. She should make a top miler this year but is unlikely to stay much further than a mile. A leading chance in the Guineas, but will not want the ground to be too fast.

Totally agree james, the ground for me would be a big issue if it came up to fast at HQ

Worked OK yesterday morning with Fallon keeping a bit for himself, nothing scintillating about her work & has not grown much at all from last year.

I cannot see her beating Pollenator any time soon.
If you watch the race again, where Seta was 3rd, and watch Pollenator's other races she absolutely bolted up. She was ridden to finish fast and late, as she had done in her previous race, and now they know how to ride her I cannot see Seta ever beating her. |
