This one finished his 2yo career with a nice win in a Newmarket mdn over today's c&d.
As a 3yo he was tried at a higher level than this Class 4 hcp, consistently running in C2 and C3 races at Newm, Ascot and Sandown, winning again over a mile at Lingfield where he had Film Set and Dalradian behind (both off level weights, both since rated in the 90s.)
He starts off his 4yo career on a very tasty 82, with Amanda Perrett in good form and Ryan Moore booked.
After yesterday's success, just the one again today...
Bugaku. 4.30 Yarmouth.
After clearly having his problems at 2 and 3 (just one run down the field as a 2yo, no runs as a 3yo) this one made a winning return to the track as a 4yo with a decent maiden win at Sandown over this distance, quickening up nicely and holding on well. After a close 3rd in a Kempton hcp, he was given a rating of 91, but never shone again last season.
Interesting that Mr Stoute has kept hold of this horse, and with him going well fresh last season and back to a mark of just 80, this looks a nice EW bet @ 5/1.

2 of interest in this unfortunately. Tilos Gem 11/2 King Fingal 7/2
Tilos would have been my slight preference of the two, but ive noticed some money coming for KF, which could be significant. 2 pts win each.
