usually consistent, last win off 84 sep 08 (now 95). 2 sound races off this mark and 3rd in this race last year off 91.

this looks very competetive, perhaps needs a couple of lbs relief from hcapper ?

at least its fit with a recent run, another plus.

Distant Memories will be a nationwide gamble, costing the bookies further millions imo.

in a wide open race, the one that looks interesting is OUSTER e/w. david elswoth's lightly raced 4YO colt has been off the course for nearly a year but could go well at a decent price. last seen when finishing 4th behind debussy at epsom last april, he was only seven lengths behind midday, giving the cecil filly 5lbs. taking the form at face value he may look well in off 91, although it is always dangerous translating stakes form into handicaps. he may well need this but the balance of his form would suggest a handicap off this mark is well within his range, even if its not tomorrow but heres hoping.

very solid, cant expect a decent price though with stable form.

Albaqaa races off its highest mark so has to run a lifetimes best, have a feeling they will have a bigger prize than this to aim for

there was a mini gamble on this before off at lincoln, so someone thinks highly of it

Know it raced off the mark last 3 runs, didnt win so what makes it a good thing tommorow, backed it in the Lincoln, just think they will have a bigger prize than this to aim for

So your comment that it runs of its highest mark was incorrect, but you knew it? Bizarre

No,was saying it has to run a lifetimes best same as it has done the last 3 times its run, what evidence is there it will do that

sporting life had it off 97 in the lincoln.

Quito - It was my fancy for the lincoln but fell out of the stalls and
also as it turned out was drawn on the wrong side .
Stayed on late without ever threatening the leaders .
Tomorrows race over 1m 2f trip but i would prefer more cut in the
ground for it .
I wont be backing it at around the 4-1 mark .

its 11/4 on here at the mo, i've looked at the race a bit more in detail now and i think its got a real big shout but i wouldn't be interested in anything less than 4/1 for sure.

it has gone close twice off this mark in this class, you can put a line through the lincoln run as has been mentioned. a few here have questions to answer and may not be fit too. 3rd in the race last year this could be an early target imo

Dont get me wrong guys,am going tommorow and it was the first horse i picked out ,backed it to win a fortune in the John Smiths Cup and again in the Lincoln,am just worried that they may not want to ruin its handicap mark if he has a bigger target in mind later on

he hasn't got his head in front for a while, must go close but at the prices tomorrow not sure he will represent any value.

Anfield - FIRST rule of betting

1. No Value, No Bet
and
1. Never be put off a fancy by a short price.

I use these rules all the time. Invariably I use each one in the wrong race.
