3.00 Subtefuge @ 8/1
Firstly Stoute doesnt appear to have his string as forward as many from newmarket this year with a fair few shorties getting beat already this season and couple running shockers. 5/2 easily passed over altho im sure he will go on to better things as the seaon progesses.
Al Farahidi definately got the run of the race at lingfield last time the second has done nothing for the form and think is very average and the favourite of baldings for whatever reason just didnt fire that day. A mark of 85 looks very harsh to me and might find it tough against so many unexposed types today.
I cant write about all of them i simply cant be bothered but of the others Horseradish was workman like when winning a poor race at Notts and altho the step up in trip on that effort looks like suiting on breeding im not so sure.
A few others are interesting at prices and is possible to make a case for plenty so taking a short price about anything in here cant be the way to go. Texan Star has now run two very moody races and im not even too sure about the form of his 2nd first time.
As for the selection Subtefuge beat the likely favourite 3 lengths off level weights. granted that was rule of natures first run but was sent off 5/2 so i would guess he was straight enough for the run. We than ran on good to soft ground at donny. Didnt like the ground will good ground today maybe even a bit quicker and 8/1 is too big.
