What a joke. The Nattional Punter's help and guide was the worst piece of racing advice I've ever heard.

Why didn't they harp on about the winner being a 17/1 chance on the exchanges?

Going to Pontefract today...my bets will be on before I get there....with the Exchanges.

Had enough of the bookies giving 10/1 a 20/1 chance and offering 1/7 odds a place etc.....

if youve bet on here before going to ponty youve made a big mistake !! i can see why you might bet at guaranteed odds before you go but not on betfair, the odds will be bigger on course and no commission or premium charge

Efistorm yesterday had an SP of 24's on here compared to an isp of 12/1. Did wonders for my sfc..... not.....saying that the exacta paid worse!

agent r the sp returning is a different matter to what price is available on course !! we are as worried about poor sp returns as you are :(

Only thing that the bookies have which is great when it works in your favor is the guaranteed odds. Cape to rio was my most recent example

Sweepin statement Daniel. "The odds will be bigger on course". Some bookies leave a nasty taste in the mouth, with cramped odds (especially place odds). At busy meeting they dupe the once a year punters, who dont know better, with their poor prices. Old fashioned bookies nearly all gone sadly :(

I know dm but the point I was making was that he wouldn't get 24's on course or isp or guaranteed odds online. I can see why he's bet before he's gone.
