Expect the weather played a big part in viewing figures. Boat Race Saturday was pretty miserable, National Saturday by comparison was a cracker. Reverse the weather and we'd have been 3 million Boat Race and 11 million National IMO.

Grand National got 482 more yards and 16 more fences but two less bridges!!. Certain to be a factor.
