DOES PEOPLE HAVE A RULE ABOUT SELECTING HORSES WITH CERTAIN AMOUNT OF DAYS OFF FOR EXAMPLE WOULD IT BE GOOD TO ONLY SELECT HORSES THAT HAVE RUN WITHIN LAST 30 DAYS

im having a bit of fun well m8 how come horses that are favorite that have won 1 or 2 days ago over same distance produce a profitand have a 50 percent strike rate and u say days mean nothing ur the one thats wrong

well that says it end of argument hes rite but i personally wont pick horses thaT ARE OFF FOR LONG
theres no one answer, some horses need to be fresh in order to produce their form! example SENTRY DUTY for nicky henderson so id ONLY consider him when hes had a long lay off!!others doesnt matter so much!depends on conditions and horse on the day too!!!

backing horses running again within 7 days still a very worthwhile plan. certainly in the summer going firm sprints.drawn well.

i agree luke - but only if their performance pattern says it goes well after a recent run - ie MIDDLEMARCH , BLUEBOK ETC ETC
