How many of you hypocrites have layed a horse on here knowing it is a dodgy jumper?? Or hoped that a horse approaching the last falls so yours can win? Complete hypocrites
No ones saying the people cheering want the horse to be seriously injured though. I for one will be completely honest and can confidently state that, at one time or another, I will have been glad that a horse has either fell or unseated its rider, and I am also certain that I'm not the only one on here

It depends when the horse falls, for example anyone who cheered when Kauto fell is a disgrace, but if you're on the second when a horse comes to the last, I'm sure the vast majority want it to fall, but majority would also prefer to lose money than for the horse/jockey to be seriously injured.

The argument is not about a horse or jockey being injured, it is about your initial reaction to a horse you don't want to win falling or unseating the rider.

as a backer only, it saddens me when any horse falls and I never wish the one in front to fall...i roll with the punches of being a backer and wishing of pain on any living thing is 100% against all my principals.....hope this helps....however i see your honesty and can see your angle..but this is mine.

i used to be like that obviously not wanting the faller to get injured. then a couple of years back was stood at the last fence at uttoxeter when a hoss nearly out on its feet fell at thelast. it was layed on the floor with its heart nearly beating out of its chest and they put the screen round it as i looked on in horror. when they removed the screen and the horse was ok nobody cheered more than me.will never wish a horse to fall again no matter how much i stand to lose. seeing something like that puts things into perspective
