Or to Mr A King - if it was a promising type, King would obviously muller it within 5 mins.

desolate that guy must be near 80 he was still applying for a license to ride when he was over 50 and that must be nigh on 30 years ago, he deserves a good horse.

I recall he had some of the lowest rated horses in training. God loves a tryer.

For many years the first trainer I thought of sending a horse to if I had a horse was,

the genius David Elsworth.

Depends what sort of horse. A well bred filly would be Henry Cecil. Colt that needs time to Sir Michael, Sharp 2yo to Hannon etc. If I bought a sour 4yo handicapper I would send it to Fahey.

Just a handful of Elsie's to show his diverse talents,

shame (apparently) he is not very good with owners !

Desert Orchid (not a lot that hasn't been already said)
Persian Punch (grand horse over many years)
Barnbrook Again (top=class 2 mile chaser)
In The Groove (classic Winner)
Island Sands (sold it to Godolphin and they won a classic with it)
