To repeat :-
This technique is based upon selection what I believe is the horse with the greatest chance of success, however before I back it I do not want any drift from the price that I believe is the correct one...... the target price . If any horse is returned at, or lower than target, its a bet , if it goes off above the target price I do one of 2 things.
1) Non handicaps At or below target, I bet 3% of the bank
Above target, I lay 3% of the bank
I lay the horse , beacuse the market has indicated that my initial assessment was probably wrong. The horse has drifted, other horses have been backed.
2) Handicaps At or below target I bet 3% win, 7% place
Two riders
(i) The selection must be
sole and clear favourite.
(ii) The horse must not drift
5 mins before the off
Above target , I do nothing. Leave alone.

The Lavelle stable expect a big run from Rajamand tonight, 11/2 is definite value. This ex Aga Khan gelding will go hurdling soon , but this race very much within it's scope. Given a sighter in a conditions event 3 weeks ago over 10f it steps up to 12f tonight and is expected to run very well. Satwa Gold is feared most.
