when i was down at the aintree festival i decided to take myself to marios cafe in bolton for a big breakfast, you may have seen it advertised in the newspapers etc. the challenge is that you get 10 sausages,10eggs,10 bacon,10 toast,5 black pudding, beans, mushrooms and tomatoes and you get 20 minutes to eat it,if you do so you get it for nothing.the catch is you are not allowed to have anything to drink with it.
well i arrived with my 2 friends to try the task only to find out the owner of the place was on holiday and we were not allowed to try it because he wasnt there to oversee the attempt, even though there were 3 members of staff there. obviously they cant use a stop watch.has anyone been to this place and tried it? we were told it has never been done although one scotsman went close leaving just 3 eggs and a bit of bacon

the sausage/bacon ratio is weighted too heavily towards sausage and is therefore fiendishly taxing

If you got close to doing that surely you would be lucky to move after let alone do anything for the rest of the day.

Report tutan April 11, 2010 3:05 PM BST
if a norman person of 12 stones requires 2500 calories to maintain the body . so conversely an 88 stones guy must need 17,000 calories a day .
