The most unreal call i ever remember him doing on Irish racing was Silent Oscar at 50s when he won the Grade 1 at Punchestown.

Could not have the horse on my mind and gave my father awful stick when he said he fancied him. Smirk was soon wiped of my face.

if its changed on their computer system they will only pay out at the updated price even if the tv screen in the shop is different, had it loads of times now, rascals they are, if pop murphy had have won i may have taken it further, the price was there but changed on main system

what would happen in sainsbury's boon, if an item was advertised at a price but showed different at the checkout?

No false advertising, information regarding the acceptance of prices is displayed on the shops rules and regulations, which are displayed in every UK betting office regardless of company. All bets are subject to these regulations.

i know what ur sayin and they're prob breakin the law but they have signs up in betfred now if the price on their head office system has changed when ur bet goes thru the computer u get that price, plus sainsbury's are not gonna get turned over for thousands and thousands like the shop i was in nearly got today, got a fair wedge tho so not complainin to much

when i place a bet i cannot see what price my selection is in their system.

most staff, esp in the shops i frequent, use their cashier monitors to issue prices.

why should a punter be penalised when the staff feeding the bet information in to thier machines are informed by said machine that the requested price is late (in most cases by seconds)

if they used pc for all prices then, by the time some of these numpty betting shop staff actually found the price in their system it could have changed anyway and how the hell is the punter behind me gonna get his bets on when i have 5 or 10 to process all with early prices.

i recall a situation in an indie recently where the cashier put all the early prices on my bets, but by the time he put them through the till, 2 had changed, their security department did not want to pay me.....but as soon as i mentioned ibas, they weighed in!
