We seem to be obsessed about sps and percentages on here at the moment when each of us is being quite royaly rogered by the oil companies and the govt over the price of fuel . this really is a national disgrace and i wish as much venom was directed at those bodies and the gas price sharks where we have no choice as there is directed at a few bookmakers who are just trying to scrape a living together in a theatre where the customer does have a choice .

In this case the argument is not about on-course bookies earning a living it's the sharp practice of the big off-course bookmakers in manipulating SPs.
they dont manipulate the sps , they manipulate the system that creates sps .a subtle difference with the same result .
such a honest sytem needed for growth? they would have us believe? Banks they give you loans if you dont pay up you lose your buisness,house etc, but the banks can do what they like knowing the whole world will become a socialist state save them so they can carry on fleecing the public and paying the politicians! do you think it works?
How long do you think the public will put up with this?
dont see that sheik........bookies got thousands of outlets....if 100000 trie to back mccoy ....seems logical to lower the price ....same as piggots derby mount or dettori;s...big race rides.
The easiest way to correct the sp system is to return to the old way of collating them . metro i am not being disparaging but your writing and grammar is appalling and difficult to understand .
There are always those that moan about paying £5 or so for a gallon of petrol but think nothing about paying over £20 for a gallon of lager or beer or even being dim-witted enough to pay £5 a gallon for the biggest rip-off of all,bottled water.
