I'm a ptp fan who detests all the pro-hunting politics that goes with it.
Go figure (spare me the it wouldn't exist without hunting PLEASE).
Great day out if you're a jump racing fan and, though the bookies bet to big margins, still value bets to be had.

Observers always comment on the huge margins as a negative, but as you say if you do your home work..you can easily have it off..
I backed one at Greart Trethew today 2.1/2m Maiden..I made the Fav about a 4/5 shot..took 6/4 withh glee.Won at 2/1..no shrewdies there,couldn'y lay a bean

Its pretty simply - you get big margins when horses who should be 50/1 are 8/1.
Doesn't stop the 6/4 fav (who should be 4/6) in a 150% book from being a cracking bet.

I thought a more positive ride would have been better today, not saying a win, but just a bit closer a bit earlier - even if same result - but would have helped imo

This reminds me of the Trodmore Hunt debate in 1890 when a fictitious racecourse was advertised in the national Racehorse press. the next day at Sandown hundreds of bets were taken all winner.

Off the A30.. nr Okehampton..Over Roadford Reservoir.about 5 miles through the lanes..
Long Course,do 7 mims plus on softish..Have to stand in the middle, they race away from you not ideal really..
Bannow Strand in the 1st..stable out of form though.
