Up there all on his own for such a long way .... even when he was 2nd on the 1st circuit he was racing alone ...... still finishes only 5 lengths behind 2nd, with 20 back to 3rd .... well done to McCoy and the winner but massive credit too to the 2nd ....

I agree with toilet-Conna castle did not make things easy for dennis and I think he deserves enormous credit.

Hello Bud's run was weird. Certainly didn't expect him to be found wanting for stamina, but that's pretty much how it looked. Maybe just such a plodder that couldn't go with the (relatively) pacier horses when they got serious a few fences out.
