Why on earth is Royal Rosa 500/1 for this?
Staying on eye catchingly 3rd in the Becher chase. Took to the fences and was staying on at the end. At the time didnt look like a very high standard Becher but the winner has proved it was good one by performances since and is now 20's.
The king of old-stager who has previously been classy but slightly lost his way but who has taken to the fences before and course might just be whats needed to keep him interested. Will be at bottom of the weights if he gets in and is definately being targeted at this.
I know he is badly handicapped compared to usual OR but has proved he copes with fences and thats a big plus.
Think he is the most overpriced horse in the race and cant beleive he is 500/1 after being a staying on 7 lengths down 3rd in one of the main trials for the race.

Never got put into the race in the Becher, not quick enough over that trip and it's hard to see him being quick enough even over 4 1/2. By the same token I would never try to put anyone off having a shot at a big priced beast and he's not a complete no-hoper.
He was 9lbs wrong in the Becher (inc overweight) and did not get the best of rides either. The horse is very quirky but has talent and the trainer has pulled out a horse which seemed to have a better chance - Abbeybraney - to get this one in. I'm not saying he'll win, just that he's twice the price he should be.
He'll definitely be staying on at the end, good luck to all who've had a go.
Will still be going when others have cried enough, though the 1st 5 will probably be on the motorway home by then.
Hmm...pity I backed him last night, out to 150 now :(
He jumps well and stays all day but he'l just be crossing the line as their preparing to turn off the lights and lock up for the night..
