Say, i have no idea, but have a £2 50 ew double on najaf in the 1 45 and bruslini in the 3 35.
At least that way youl stand a chance dear aunty.
I love my punting as much as anyone, but im sick of these crunching falls, as much as i love my punting, i love horses more, give me southwell over this carnage anyday.
Yes i know racehouses are well looked after, i helped build dalham stud in my youth, and yes they are pampered, and looked after better than 99% of other horses in the land but . . . i dont/carnt find entertainment in watching horses that are somebodys pride and joy , break there necks, it makes me feel sick to be honest.
So there you have it, get aunt dot on those 2 and ul be in for a big sloopy kiss, that ul have to wipe off!!

agree with the sentiments...for some reason its hit me pretty hard the past few days, has had me questioning my morals somewhat. feel a bit ashamed that i hadnt given it huge thought before, but also there have been more really bad crashes than i remember in recent times.
im sure this thread will get one or two 'all part of the game innit' merchants, but i couldnt really care less for their opinion. they say the game wouldnt exist without the punters, well the HORSES are a few rungs up in importance id say, and they should command our full respect when running, and condolence when hurt.
to rein it back towards your selections grimster, obviously while najaf should place fine, is the win part in hope or expectation? basically, is there enough expectation to put me off a bet on peddlers?

Ive put that up as a bet, because like all dirty ew races the "risk" is reduced. always a chance of a nice win double for "aunty" lot better chance than a stab at the national i m o.

Jump racing banned in most of Australia.

Got to admit im finding jump racing harder and harder to watch.
oh for goodwood ect, yes i know they break down on the flat, but at least on the flat we aint trying to tip them up.

Good topic Grimster- But wont the world still be watching the best spectacle on the planet--Horses bred and trained to jump fences at speed. Cruel? i'm not so sure ? Passionate Yes- exciting Yes- exhilerating Yes- I'd rather watch the GN than stand in the rain all alone @ Southwell watching 40 rated horses being beaten to death to win 2 grand Having to 45 race of their lives
