Horses with an official rating of between 136 and 157 have won every G N since 1989
The last 11 winners have won a chace worth at least £17000
Only 1 horse in the last25 years has carried more than 11 stone to victory
No horse since 1970 has won the GN who hadnt previously run over at least 3 miles
Non of the last 10 winners have fallen more than twice over fences in their entire careers
There have only been three french bred winners
Only 1 horse since 1998 that had been prev placed in the race has gon on to win a subsequent national
The last 10 winners all have prev won a listed or graded( class a or 1 ) race
the result is Cant buy time wins big fella thanks 2nd
