how would joe get a ride if his dad didnt put him up
By:
Poor old Joe, nice lad, quite good over hurdles but dire over fences. Got the achers from Nicholls because he could not jump a fence.
By:
I've posted before that the sooner his Dad "promotes" him to Asst. Trainer, the better for his training prospects.
By:
Yes, real shame. Think the horse isn't actually a bad jumper.
By:
I remember around November that the father had a purple patch and Mick Fitz was saying how unlucky Joe was that he was injured and missing these good winners (as if there was no connection!).

she should go well inthe 5.20
Cheers |

I haven't got a Michelin star, but I'd know when someone's**ed in my gravy.

bet ur misses has done more to ur dinner then that on many occasions and u aint ever clicked lol.surely lensio should gracefully pack up before joe should imho

Joe was given the push after riding nearly 300 winners for Nicholls... helping him to become established as a leading trainer. Don't forget where Nicholls' fist winner in Ireland came from... his first Festival winner... his first Tingle Creek....etc.
Horses fall. Get over it. Great ride on Oiseau today...good luck on Saturday, Joe. |

A rare broadside from Facts there.

Shame he cannot separate facts from fiction.

Reminded - Double Silk. Shame. Moving on.
By:
Do you mean Double Thriller?
By:
No - definately Double Silk 1994.
By:
So what are you reminded of??
By:
High hopes - dashed.
By:
That's racing. It happens most days.
By:
I know - it's O.K. - over it now.

saw joe ride his 1st winner at a point to point and he has always been a talented jockey.
read paul nicholls view of him in his book and he rates him highly. all this jockey crap is all hype. ask any realhorseman what they think of joe tizz. and overwhelmingly they would praise him. |
By:
So why does he keep falling off HBS ?
By:
Cos he is shlte I think.
By:
He doesn't keep falling off. If he did he wouldn't have ridden hundreds of winners. He wouldn't be about level stakes for the season. Check your facts, Mr. Fiction.
By:
Didn't he win the 2 mile Champion Chase on Flagship Ubarelles as a kid? Not exactly a race for a youngster who can't ride over fences.
By:
That's right, you can't be a bad jockey if you've ridden lots of winners in the past. Jockeys like Andrew Thornton remain of the very highest calibre.
Here's a fact for you Call it a Day, since you seem to fond of them. Joe Tizzard has had 212 rides this season, 173 of which have been for his father. Funny he gets so few outside rides considering he's so good isn't it? |
By:
How many of those has he bungled into a fence and fallen off, Sweep Toast VOle?
By:
callitaday.
read the post ! I said why does he keep falling off Hey Big Spender. I've said nothing about his other mounts. Please keep up !! |
