he is not giving any kind of respect to the brave mare. Career not emotion. Moderate stuff from the stats nerd.

absolutely horrible - lots of people on the course were completely oblivious to what had happened.

The Irish response to the Fairyhouse debacle this week was even more upsetting. The only fatality they acknowledged was the David Casey horse, but rest assured if Dessie Scahill had dropped dead then there would be obituaries flying everywhere. A bunch of hypocrites imo!

Pagan Starprincess has not been announced dead on racing post

Just like Fairyhouse, they brush it under the carpet. The poor mare fell and broke her neck at the first, probably because of the first-time visor!

I had just returned from a fairly rare pub visit when I wrote that post. I found her accident very upsetting yesterday and felt she deserved better. Machin is generally competent but an ounce of feeling wouldn't go amiss. He has an extraordinary depth of knowledge for a relatively young man but there's a little too much of the Steve Rider about him. Forgive this please....I backed Sir Harry (among others in the race ) but couldn't feel elation at the time.
As for Harry Carpenter and Malcolm McClaren.........

not so thinly veiled aftertiming in a rip thread

don't need to with my record on the radio old son. Just to make your day I also backed JHJ's 40-1 winner on Tues (at 27 ) and Batchworth at Ling the following day at 44. I'm very good at backing horses.Perhaps that is why I can believe The Shoe when he says he's backed a 50 winner and why I also believe Matt W's assertion that he backed a 999 chance. We are about you know. You won't close the gap by being jealous. Hard work ,.intelligence and experience. You can attain 2 yourself can't you ?

were you not on here slating some dead bookmaker the other day NGB? Double standards
Report ybor city April 9, 2010 7:52 AM BST
you appear not to understand the meaning. The dead man was someone my brother and I worked for and he was a piece of dirt. Hitler was no better after topping himself.

not the first human casualty you have slated on here, you must prefer horses to people. fair logic
