I wonder if the pop group AMEN CORNER named themselves after the famous hole?

I wonder if the wrote/recorded their hit record BEND ME SHAPE ME as a 'tongue in cheek' about the hole.

Masters - AC was named in 58 and the band called themselves after it so answer is yes..not sure about the song though - but sounds plausible
