decided to take 3 days away - no internet, no phone, 1 day of rain and two of sun - great company and the farm shop foods...mmmm...totally refreshed, glad i did not punt and highly recommended to have a few days off - we cant punt 364/5 days of the year....was on a nice run as well..but was planned in advance and even got a bit of colour after a day at the beach...so back to the norm and these are my 4 for tomorrow..I reckon all have an ew sniff at big prices:

doing something simular to you , have great memories of a place called swanage sleeply little place in dorset ,holing up there for 5 days touring around ,really looking forword to it except the drive its about 8 hrs non stop :(

yeah the journey there and back was a killer...left at 11.30pm to dodge school holiday traffic - arrived at 5am ish after sat nav directed me to Truro!...left today about 1pm...flew all the way until M25...2 hours on te fecker...the joys of a break in Uk...but loved every minute

should be ok then workrider...only went to one pub (unlike me!) the tinners...nice place..sat in garden having a couple of ales...was staying in great place just outside Penzance...had music studios, amazing views..so just chilled out there and wandered down to secluded beaches in day..just nice to get away from everything and forget about punting - which is good, as I would have done my conkers last two days!

did not try food tbh..but certainly very busy and popular..and good ale...was nice to be able to sit ouside in april...although back to the racing tomorrow...although my eyes have been opened about different lifestyles and how punting is not so important...imagine if i had been there a week! lol
